• I love this class, just the right balance between exercise and involving the baby. Heather creates a comfortable, relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Strongly recommended to start gentle exercise after pregnancy. Location is convenient too.

  • A lovely gentle class, my baby really enjoyed watching me as well as being involved. I felt very relaxed after and well stretched, and my son had a good nap!

  • As a first time mum I was apprehensive about exercising with my baby - what if she cries, needs feeding etc etc?? But I needn't have worried as Heather makes you feel so relaxed from the minute you walk in. It is so interactive with the babies too, so it's a chance to have fun with them as well as exercise. A lovely relaxed and fun class that I would recommend to any mum, even if you're new to yoga.

Lindsay Challis, came with daughter from 2 months "Highly recommend Heather’s class! This was one of my favourite classes for me and my baby, and a perfect gentle reintroduction to exercise. Lovely to do something that benefited me - I felt fab after each class and my little one loved the baby moves too! Heather is a fantastic teacher and this was just the right balance of strengthening exercises, good humour and meeting other mums (...and biscuits!)."

Kerry Howard, came with son from 2 months "Mummy and Baby Yoga with Heather was, absolutely, one of my favourite activities I did during my maternity leave - it was lovely to do something aimed at me as well as my little boy. Heather is a great yoga teacher as well as being super friendly and engaging. The sessions were relaxed and fun and it was lovely to meet other mums and babies - tea and biscuits afterwards gave a great opportunity to get to know them and share experiences. Thank you again Heather - I hope to attend more of your yoga sessions in the future. "

Mum & Baby Yoga - First Class £5

When? 11am - 12.15pm Monday.

Where? The Healthy Living Company, 92- 96 Northease Drive, Brighton, BN3 8LH. (Free on street parking)

Why? Both mum and baby are exercised and entertained in this gorgeous class. We practice yoga poses which help with problems such as lower back pain, with a focus on improving core strength (we work that pelvic floor.) Yoga helps to reduce stress levels and improve sleep. It’s also great for bonding with your little one, meeting other mums and is suitable for beginners.

Whose this for? Mums with babies aged 6 weeks to sitting/crawling. I create a relaxed, fun environment where you can feed/change whenever you need to and keep your little one happy.

Yummy. Post-class tea and biscuits included.

What's provided? All equipment for mum and baby.

What do you need to bring? A water bottle, yourself in easy to move in clothing and anything you need for your little one.
