What is Vinyasa Yoga?

Vinyasa Yoga is a term used to describe a Yoga class in which the poses are linked together. Moving with the breath it is generally a more energetic style of yoga.

I started my Yogic Journey with Vinyasa Yoga and over the years have always come back to it as the style I enjoy the most. In my Vinyasa Flow classes in Brighton I focus on linking movement and breath, whilst varying what we do from week to week. Although their will be similar "flows", or mini sequences, which will help you build up your confidence in postures, we practice differently every day so both your body and mind will stay active and alert

In my Vinyasa Flow Classes in Brighton I like to focus on good posture, or to use the sanskrit term, Asana, practice. In the flow of movement I giving on positioning and alignment, which really you to develop your yoga practice, it's one of the best and most enjoyable ways to learn. This is why even if your a beginner you can come to one of my Vinyasa Yoga Classes in Brighton.

Remember you don't have to be able to touch your toes or fold yourself in half to do yoga, doing yoga may help you be able to do that in the future, but even then, that's not what its about. It's about practice. Every time you come to my Vinyasa Flow Yoga class in Brighton you are practising yoga, whether you've been doing it for a day or ten years, everyone in the room is in the same position, simply there to practice, which is what makes Yoga such an amazing thing for everyone to do.
