Heather Deaville

Senior Yoga Teacher · Pre-School Yoga Specialist
Founder, Mini Movers Toddler Yoga

Heather's yoga journey began during pregnancy and grew through Mum & Baby and Mini Movers classes before developing into a dedicated Vinyasa Flow practice — shaping her belief that yoga is a lifelong practice rooted in awareness, breath and connection, not performance or flexibility.

With a deep passion for early years wellbeing, Heather brings both professional expertise and lived experience as a mother to her teaching. Her approach is warm, grounded and practical — weaving movement, imagination and emotional literacy together in a way that is genuinely age-appropriate and engaging for the youngest learners.

Yes! Simply select the instalment payment option at checkout.

Is the course accredited?

Yes. The Mini Movers Toddler Yoga Teacher Training is accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals (Yoga Pros).

As part of the accreditation process, they carefully review the course syllabus, learning outcomes, training hours, policies and procedures to ensure the course meets their high professional standards.

How much coursework is there?

The coursework has been designed to be practical and enjoyable rather than overwhelming.

Before the training, you'll complete a fun Toddler Yoga Treasure Hunt, which takes around 2 hours.

After the training, you'll create two brand-new toddler yoga class plans using everything you've learned during the course. These are submitted for assessment, and I aim to provide personalised feedback within two weeks of receiving your coursework.

Will I receive class plans?

Absolutely! You'll receive 8 ready-to-use toddler yoga class plans, so you can start teaching with confidence as soon as you've completed the training.

What age children will I be qualified to teach?

You'll be qualified to teach toddler yoga to children aged 1–5 years.

What makes toddler yoga different from children's yoga?

Toddler yoga is wonderfully different from teaching older children!

Rather than focusing on perfect poses or structured sequences, toddler yoga is all about learning through play. Classes are filled with imagination, stories, songs, movement, repetition and plenty of opportunities to explore. You'll learn how to work with toddlers' natural curiosity and short attention spans, creating sessions that are fun, engaging and developmentally appropriate.

Throughout the Mini Movers Toddler Yoga Teacher Training, you'll discover how to build classes that support toddlers' physical, emotional and social development, while creating joyful experiences that parents and little ones will want to come back to week after week.

Can I teach in nurseries and preschools?

Yes. During the training we'll cover both:

  • Parent-and-toddler classes

  • Sessions in nurseries, preschools and other early years settings

You'll learn how to adapt your teaching to suit each environment.

What support do I receive after the training?

You're joining the Mini Movers family, not just attending a course.

After your training you'll continue to have access to support from Heather as you begin teaching. Whether you have questions about class planning, marketing, teaching ideas or building your confidence, you'll never be on your own.

Do I need to be a yoga teacher?

No. You don't need to be a qualified yoga teacher to join the course.

However, having some knowledge or experience of yoga will be beneficial. If you're unsure whether the training is right for you, please get in touch—I'd be happy to chat.

Will I be confident enough to teach afterwards?

That's exactly what this training is designed to help you achieve.

You'll leave with practical teaching skills, ready-made class plans, creative ideas, marketing guidance and plenty of hands-on experience. My goal is for you to finish the training feeling excited, prepared and confident to start teaching your own toddler yoga classes.

I'm excited... but I'm worried I'm not creative enough to teach toddlers.

This is one of the biggest worries people have! The good news is that you don't need to be a singer, actor or entertainer. Throughout the training I'll show you simple ways to bring stories, songs, movement and imagination into your classes. With the class plans and resources you'll receive, you'll have everything you need to deliver engaging, fun sessions that toddlers (and their grown-ups!) will love.
