Retreat to the countryside
Countryside Escape
Barcombe, Near Lewes
Imagine arriving somewhere beautiful, setting everything down, and having an entire day just for you.
That's what this is.
Tucked into the Sussex countryside with sweeping views across the reservoir towards Ashdown Forest and the Ouse Valley, this is a day to breathe out properly — to move, rest, walk, eat well and simply be.
You'll leave feeling cared for, well nourished and deeply rested. Quieter in your mind. Fuller in your heart.
Your Day
It begins gently. Tea in hand, a homemade treat, and time to properly arrive.
From there, we move into an extended yoga practice — grounding, strengthening and softening the body as the seasons shift. Options are woven throughout, so whether you're a beginner or experienced practitioner, there's space for you here.
After morning movement, we step outside for a mindful walk through the surrounding countryside. On returning, a wholesome lunch awaits, with time to linger, relax and connect with the other women in the room.
The afternoon is given over entirely to rest. We'll explore essential oils, ease into restorative yoga, and close with a guided Yoga Nidra — Yogic Sleep — a practice that leaves you feeling deeply restored in a way that's hard to put into words.

“Thank you too for a wonderful retreat day. I loved it all! There was a good mix of classes. The food was delicious and there was plenty for everyone. It was lovely you had made it all and had obviously put a lot of thought into it. The sweet treats were really tasty and kept us going and the chocolate mindfulness exercise was good fun at the end!”
