Mini Movers Toddler Yoga Teacher Training Policies, Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the Deaville Yoga Mini Movers Toddler Yoga Teacher Training programme. By enrolling in this course, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the following policies. Please retain a copy of this document for your records.

1. Code of Conduct

All participants on the Deaville Yoga Mini Movers Toddler Yoga Teacher Training are expected to uphold a high standard of professional and personal conduct throughout the programme. This code applies to all in-person training days and online learning activities.

1.1 Professional Standards

  • Treat all fellow trainees, facilitators, and course staff with courtesy and respect at all times.

  • Arrive punctually for all in-person training days and live online sessions.

  • Come prepared, having completed any pre-reading or assignments set ahead of each session.

  • Engage constructively and supportively with peers during group discussions and practical work.

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding personal information shared by others during the training.

1.2 Online Learning Environment

  • Course materials, recordings, and resources are for your personal use only and must not be shared, distributed, or reproduced without written permission from Deaville Yoga.

  • Participants must not record live online sessions without prior consent from the course facilitator.

  • Respectful and constructive communication is required in all online forums, group chats, and virtual sessions.

1.3 Social Media

  • You are welcome to share your experience of the training on social media, provided you do not share copyrighted course materials or images of other participants without their consent.

  • Please tag @minimoverstoddleryoga when sharing — we love seeing your journey!

  • Do not represent yourself as a certified Deaville Yoga Mini Movers Toddler Teacher until you have received your official certificate of completion.

1.4 Breach of Code of Conduct

Deaville Yoga reserves the right to suspend or remove any participant from the programme who is found to be in breach of this code of conduct. In such cases, no refund will be issued.

2. Refund Policy

We understand that circumstances can change; however, due to the nature of this training programme and the limited places available, the following policy applies to all bookings.

2.1 No-Refund Policy

All bookings for the Deaville Yoga Mini Movers Toddler Yoga Teacher Training are non-refundable. Once your place has been confirmed and payment received, no refund will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Personal illness or injury

  • Change of personal circumstances

  • Inability to attend scheduled sessions

  • Withdrawal from the programme for any reason

2.2 Transfers

In exceptional circumstances, and at the sole discretion of Deaville Yoga, a transfer to a future course intake may be considered. Any such request must be made in writing to heather@deavilleyoga.com at least 14 days before the course start date. Transfers are not guaranteed and a transfer administration fee of £100 may apply.

2.3 Course Cancellation by Deaville Yoga

In the unlikely event that Deaville Yoga is required to cancel the course, participants will be offered either a full refund or a transfer to a future intake. Deaville Yoga will not be liable for any additional costs incurred by participants as a result of a cancellation (such as travel or accommodation).

3. Terms & Conditions

3.1 Enrolment & Eligibility

  • This training is open to qualified yoga teachers who hold a recognised yoga teaching qualification (200 hours minimum, or equivalent).

  • Proof of qualification may be requested prior to or at the start of the course.

  • Enrolment is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment (or an agreed deposit, where applicable).

  • Deaville Yoga reserves the right to decline an application at its discretion.

  • Participants must ensure that all course fees are paid in full prior to the final assessment and certification being issued.

  • Where an installment payment plan has been agreed, participants are responsible for ensuring payments are made on time. Failure to make scheduled payments may result in suspension from the course until outstanding balances are cleared.

  • Deaville Yoga reserves the right to withhold access to course materials, live sessions, assessments, and certification where fees remain unpaid.

3.2 Course Structure, Delivery & Attendance

  • The Mini Movers Toddler Yoga Teacher Training is delivered via a hybrid model, combining in-person training days and online training days.

  • Schedules, dates, and venue details will be provided upon enrolment and are subject to change with reasonable notice.

  • Participants are expected to attend and actively participate in 100% of the scheduled training sessions, both in-person and online. The online day will be recorded and shared with participants.

  • Participants are responsible for ensuring they have access to suitable internet connectivity, devices, software, and technology required to participate fully in online elements of the training programme.

  • Deaville Yoga shall not be responsible for interruptions to participation caused by a participant’s own technical issues or inadequate equipment.

  • Where a participant is unable to attend part of the training due to illness or exceptional circumstances, they must notify Deaville Yoga as soon as possible. Missed training hours may be required to be made up through additional mentoring, private tuition, observation, written work, or attendance at a future training session, at the discretion of Deaville Yoga.

  • Any additional tuition or make-up sessions required to meet the course requirements may incur an additional fee payable by the participant.

  • Failure to complete the required attendance hours may result in certification being withheld.

3.3 Certification, Assessment & Coursework

  • A certificate of completion will be issued upon successful completion of all required elements of the programme, including attendance, assignments, and any practical assessments.

  • Deaville Yoga retains the right to withhold certification if course requirements are not met.

  • The certificate confirms completion of the Deaville Yoga Mini Movers Toddler Yoga Teacher Training and does not constitute a regulated qualification under UK law

  • Participants may be required to complete coursework, written assignments, practical teaching assessments, and/or class planning exercises as part of the certification process.

  • All coursework and assessments must be submitted by the deadlines provided during the training. Late submissions may not be accepted unless agreed in advance by Deaville Yoga.

  • If a participant does not meet the required assessment standard, they may be offered the opportunity to resubmit coursework or retake an assessment within a timeframe specified by Deaville Yoga.

  • Deaville Yoga reserves the right to charge an additional assessment or administration fee for resubmissions, reassessments, or additional tutor support where required.

  • Certification will only be issued once all assessments have been successfully completed and all course fees have been paid in full.

3.4 Intellectual Property

  • All course content, materials, manuals, videos, and resources are the intellectual property of Deaville Yoga and are protected by copyright.

  • Participants are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use course materials for their own teaching practice.

  • Reproduction, distribution, or resale of course materials in any form is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.

3.5 Health & Wellbeing

  • Participants are responsible for their own health and wellbeing during the programme.

  • You should inform Deaville Yoga of any health conditions, injuries, or circumstances that may affect your participation prior to the course start date.

  • Deaville Yoga and its facilitators accept no liability for injury or illness sustained during the training, except where caused by negligence on our part.

  • Participants are expected to behave in a professional and responsible manner throughout the training and when undertaking any practical teaching activities.

  • Deaville Yoga reserves the right to pause, restrict, or withdraw a participant from practical teaching components where there are concerns relating to safety, wellbeing, professional conduct, or suitability to work with toddlers and children.

  • Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically, mentally, and emotionally fit to participate safely in practical activities and teaching practice.

3.6 Liability

Deaville Yoga's total liability to any participant shall not exceed the total course fee paid. Deaville Yoga shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss arising from participation in or inability to participate in the training.

3.6 Force Majeure

Deaville Yoga shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms & Conditions where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, pandemics, epidemics, government restrictions, natural disasters, extreme weather events, venue closures, industrial disputes, internet outages, or other unforeseen events.

Where possible, Deaville Yoga will make reasonable efforts to reschedule training sessions or provide alternative arrangements.

3.8 Privacy & Data

Deaville Yoga will handle your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and our Privacy Policy, available on request. Your data will be used solely for the purposes of administering your training and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

3.9 Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

3.10 Changes to Policies

Deaville Yoga reserves the right to update these policies at any time. Participants will be notified of any material changes. Continued participation in the programme constitutes acceptance of any revised policies.

3.11. Safeguarding & Professional Responsibilities

  • Participants are responsible for ensuring they comply with any safeguarding, insurance, DBS, legal, or professional requirements applicable in the country, organisation, or setting in which they teach.

  • Where participants work directly with toddlers or children during or following the training, it is their responsibility to ensure appropriate safeguarding standards are maintained at all times.

  • Completion of this course does not guarantee eligibility to work with children in any specific setting or jurisdiction. 

  • Deaville Yoga is committed to promoting safe, respectful, and child-centred practice throughout the training programme.

  • Participants are responsible for ensuring they comply with all safeguarding, child protection, insurance, DBS, legal, and professional requirements applicable within the country or setting in which they teach or work with children.

  • Participants must always prioritise the safety and wellbeing of children and are expected to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with good safeguarding practice.

  • Any safeguarding concerns, inappropriate behaviour, or unsafe practice identified during the training may result in removal from the course and/or certification being withheld.

  • Completion of this training does not replace any legal safeguarding or employment requirements applicable in a participant’s workplace, region, or country.

3.12 Photography & Recording

  • During training sessions, Deaville Yoga may occasionally take photographs, screenshots, or short recordings for educational, promotional, or marketing purposes.

  • Where participants are identifiable in any images or recordings, consent will be requested in advance. Participants may opt out of being photographed or recorded at any time by notifying Deaville Yoga in writing.

  • Participants must not photograph, record, or distribute images or recordings of fellow trainees, or course materials without prior permission.

  • Any images involving children used for educational purposes must be shared only with appropriate parental or guardian consenting or jurisdiction.

3.12 Right to Refuse Certification

  • Deaville Yoga reserves the right to withhold certification where a participant’s conduct, professional behaviour, practical teaching ability, or communication is deemed unsafe, unethical, or inconsistent with the standards of the training.

  • This includes situations where a participant fails to demonstrate an appropriate understanding of safe practice when working with toddlers and children.

  • Any decision regarding certification shall be made at the sole discretion of Deaville Yoga.

4. Complaints Procedure

4.1 How to Submit a Complaint

Deaville Yoga is committed to handling all concerns promptly and professionally. If you have a complaint relating to any aspect of the Mini Movers Toddler Yoga Teacher Training, please follow the procedure below.

All complaints must be submitted in writing to heather@deavilleyoga.com within 14 days of the incident or concern arising. Complaints received outside of this timeframe may not be considered. Your written complaint should include:

  • Your full name and contact details.

  • A clear description of the complaint and the date(s) on which the relevant events occurred.

  • Any relevant supporting information or evidence.

  • The outcome you are seeking.

4.2 Response & Resolution

Deaville Yoga will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 5 working days and aim to provide a full written response within 28 days. Where a complaint requires further investigation, we will keep you informed of progress.

Complaints that are not submitted in accordance with this procedure, or that are submitted anonymously, may not be investigated. Deaville Yoga reserves the right to determine the appropriate course of action and its decision shall be final.
